Global Works Council in Aker ASA launches its own internet site. The web pages will contain additional information about GWC, meeting activity, information about who are delegates from different locations & nations. Minutes of meeting and governing documents will also be available to delegates via the web portal.
Global Works Council Plenary Meeting Aker ASA normally takes place twice a year.
Delegates and representatives of management contributes to interesting meetings and discussions. On the agenda you will normally find current and future plans for business expansion and new technology, as well as debates over working conditions and worker\s rights in the different countries.
Meetings in 2020 – 2021 was digital rather than physical due to the Covid situation. But normally, the meetings takes place in the Aker ASA head office at Fornebu (Oslo).
